April–MSW, CTSA-Certified

Social Worker | RSW MSW | Clinic Owner

April has been dedicated to the mental health field for over eight years. Before specializing in OCD, she worked in local emergency departments and police detachments, providing critical support to individuals in crisis. During this time, she witnessed firsthand the harmful misconceptions surrounding OCD and the lack of access to evidence-based treatment. This realization sparked her passion for specializing in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

April earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and is a CTSA-Certified clinician in ERP for OCD. She takes an active and engaged approach to treatment, empowering individuals and families with the tools they need to live well with OCD. In addition to her expertise in OCD, April has extensive experience treating Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) through Habit Reversal Training and supporting individuals with Tics using Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT).
