FATEMA

Fatema, MSW, RSW

Fatema is passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths and build meaningful lives beyond the challenges they face. With experience working in inpatient mental health settings, she has supported individuals navigating complex mental health concerns with compassion, empathy, and evidence-based care.

Fatema earned her Master of Social Work from Western University and takes a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to therapy. She recognizes that every person's story is unique and strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their treatment.

When working with individuals living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Fatema utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD, alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients face fears, build resilience, and move toward the life they want to live. She completed her ERP training through Behavioural Exposure Training Inc.

Outside of the therapy room, Fatema enjoys exploring nature, hiking local trails, spending quality time with family and friends, and experimenting with new baking recipes—though she'll be the first to admit that not every cake turns out as planned!

TERESA

Teresa, MSW, RSW

Teresa is passionate about helping individuals and families heal from trauma, navigate grief, and move toward lives that feel meaningful and authentic. She believes that everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience, and strives to create a compassionate, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and hopeful.

As a Registered Social Worker, Teresa provides evidence-based treatment for trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). With years of experience in hospice and palliative care, she has developed a deep understanding of grief, loss, and the lasting impact these experiences can have on mental health. She also recognizes how trauma and bereavement can intensify obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bringing a thoughtful and integrated approach to treatment when these concerns overlap.

Teresa works collaboratively with each client to develop personalized treatment goals and build practical strategies for healing. Her approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that lasting change is possible. She finds the greatest reward in watching clients rediscover their strengths, regain confidence, and create lives guided by hope rather than fear.
