OCD Intensive Outpatient Program in Ontario, New Brunswick and PEI

Receive intensive, evidence-based OCD treatment designed to support meaningful progress in a shorter time frame.

Program Overview

Structured Intensive OCD Treatment

The Intensive Outpatient Program provides a higher level of support for individuals experiencing OCD symptoms that require more than standard weekly sessions. This program offers increased therapy frequency, allowing clients to engage more consistently with treatment. Sessions are structured to build momentum and maintain focus throughout the process. The increased consistency helps reinforce strategies and reduce gaps between sessions that can slow progress.

This approach is designed to help individuals make meaningful changes while staying supported every step of the way.

How It Works

Who The Program Is For

Our IOP for OCD may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel “stuck” in weekly therapy and want to make faster progress
  • Need more structure, accountability, and daily support in recovery
  • Are transitioning home from a higher level of care (e.g., inpatient or residential treatment)
  • Want intensive treatment without hospitalization

We aim to make intensive treatment both realistic and sustainable, collaborating with your schedule to support your unique needs.

How Our Individual IOP Works

Completion of Assessment to understand OCD presentation and determine frequency of sessions.

Each OCD treatment plan is customized to meet your personal goals and pace.

Your dedicated clinician will work closely with you to design a program that fits your life while targeting the specific challenges of OCD.

A typical IOP schedule includes:

  • Starting at 3-5 days a week.
  • 1 to 2 sessions a day with use of check-in calls as predetermined in your treatment plan.
  • Transitioning out of the IOP to regular treatment sessions.
  •  Decreasing frequency over time to foster independency and confidence at discharge.

Who It Helps

Designed for Higher Support Needs

The Intensive Outpatient Program is ideal for individuals who need more structured support, experience more severe symptoms, or want to accelerate progress in a shorter period of time.

It is also suitable for clients who have not achieved desired results with less frequent therapy. The program provides a focused and immersive experience that supports deeper engagement.

Each plan is tailored to the individual to ensure appropriate and effective care.
