Using approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Habit Reversal Training, and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Tics, we provide compassionate care tailored to each person’s needs. Role Description
OCD Wellness is seeking a dedicated Clinician for a full-time, on-site role at our Barrie, ON location. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based treatments (including ERP, I-CBT and ACT), creating individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with families to support clients’ progress. The Clinician will lead therapy sessions, provide education, and work closely with clients to ensure their goals are met. Additional duties involve maintaining accurate documentation and participating in team meetings to contribute to overall program improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in evidence-based therapies such as ERP, I-CBT, ACT, AFRID, Habit Reversal Training, and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Tics
- Ability to develop personalized treatment plans and conduct thorough client assessments
- Proficiency in providing individual and family-based therapy sessions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to maintain clear documentation and collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Capacity to create a supportive and empathetic environment for clients while maintaining professionalism
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Current registration in good standing with a relevant professional regulatory body
- Experience in treating OCD and related disorders is highly desirable
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

OCD Wellness recognizes the importance of facilitating recovery utilizing evidence-based treatment while creating a safe environment for individual seeking support. As a Clinician with OCD Wellness, you will be helping address the shortage of evidence-based treatment and shame that has played a role in individuals waiting 14 to 17 years from onset of OCD symptoms to obtain proper treatment.

OCD, AFRID, BFRB, TICS Specialist
- Master or Doctorate level University Degree in Social Work (MSW or DSW)
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the mental health field.
- Experience using Behavioural Therapies
- Knowledge in Exposure and Response Prevention/ Inference-Based CBT and willingness to participate in training.
- Availability to work virtually and in-person.
- Registered and in good standing with OCSWSSW.
- Part-time or Full-time caseload
